Cornish Petals screamed Mail Art to me. I grabbed a piece of Bristol paper and applied a background of acrylic paints.
Taping down the stencil with painters tape held it in place for crisp lines as I pounced several colors of acrylic paint through the stencil.
Loving how these colors are blending right through the stencil making peacock feather like colors. This is totally lickable!
I grabbed a circle punch and punched out five circles out of a scrap of painted paper. Then I cut 2 wave like strips of painted paper to add to the other end of my project. Since this is mail art, this piece will be folded in half and I wanted interesting elements on both sides.
Now, my favorite part, adding doodling to pop the elements off the page!
Adding texture with my sewing machine is a go-to technique for me.
A label for an address was stitched on and well as return address label and I am calling this DONE!
