Art Challenge:  Fabric
Journal Prompt:  The Fabric of Your Life

Fabric is such a wonderful addition to any page. It adds texture, warmth and life to a page. I was happy when this challenge came along.

And the Featured Artist?! Melody Ross is AMAZING in her dedication to changing women's lives. I am a Brave Girl Camp alumni and am happy to support Melody in anyway possible. Her online course, Life Restoration, was the most thought provoking and life changing course I have ever taken.

Oh yeah, the art-

I started by using masking tape in the outer edges of my pages to create a wide border of white space.

Tip: masking tape is sticky so stick it to your clothes several times before you use it on your page so it is much less sticky and won't tear your page.

I mixed up a peachy color and swiped it on with some white paint.

Rae Missigman's Happenstance stencils by Stencil Girl made a beautiful background. I love these stencils SO much.

The next must have tool I grabbed is our new Art Fusion rubber stamp set. They have just right blend of elements, mark making and journaling. I love this circle with lines for funky journaling! I used the detailed circle for centers in a few of my flowers - stamped on muslin that I gelli plated.

I removed the masking tape and added a doodled frame.
