We believe that stories are very important - your story, my story, our story together. Creativity is the pathway. We can tell our unique story in a beautiful, color-filled and ever-expanding way that heals, restores and fills us.

Join US - it's no coincidence that Unfolding Stories initials are "US"- as together we build a community where stories are honored, preserved and told in creative mediums including photography, mixed media art, and narrative words. A gathering of makers where self-care is a non-negotiable and connection with other makers who share our mission of building exactly what we need is key.

We are on a mission to strengthen and heal our community and beyond by harnessing the power of kindness and connection. It began with The Painted Paper Project™ which brightly illuminated the effect of kindness. Watching it spread across our community and out into the world was so validating that what we were doing was important. What seemed like a small effort became magnified as it passed from person to person brightening the dark days of the pandemic. It benefited the giver and the receiver. This was never a one way street - what you gave out, you got back in feelings of hope and joy. Two very powerful emotions that beat back the pervasive feelings of loneliness and isolation. 

We took this power of kindness and developed it realizing that we needed to feed our own creative souls to build up a strong reserve to lead this mission. A mission focused on fully owning and sharing our unique story, developing strong self-care routines, and leaving a trail of kindness for others. We worked to reveal the balance we needed in our own lives, we sat quiet and refueled then were hard at work dreaming, designing, editing, and uncovering. And now we are ready. It is YOUR TURN and we can help by sharing our discoveries, realizations and the path we designed.

Unfolding Stories is a monthly membership based community*. This is NOT a WORKSHOP. The content will grow monthly. We will be working together in a monthly "chapter" (journal) that you will build. There is an included class that teaches you step by step how to assemble and use it. There is an included E-Book with all the downloads you will need to add the pages, boxes and areas to your chapter pages. You may work in the medium that you are most comfortable or one that you are stretching to learn. We will be working primarily in watercolor but you may choose your own medium. 

And, it is more - it is a gathering of creatives that want more, need more and thrive when they are challenged to do MORE.

*PLEASE READ:
A monthly membership means that there is a reoccurring monthly fee on your credit card - just like Netflix. The amount you pay stays the same the entire time you are a member of Unfolding Stories. Your original fee is "locked in" at sign up (unlike Netflix!) however, if you leave the membership and then re-join, you will be charged the prevailing price which may be higher. Again, this is NOT a Workshop with a one time fee. This will be charged monthly.  You may cancel your membership at anytime. We can not cancel your membership for you. 

We have made this membership as technologically easy as we can. You must be familiar with downloading PDFs, saving them to your device and printing them. If this is beyond your ability, we regret this may not be the right place for you unless you have someone to consistently help you. We can not help you with downloading, saving or printing documents. There are too many variables for us to be able to determine what works on your device(s).

Can I cancel my membership at anytime?

YES! Click on MY ACCOUNT in the top right hand corner of the membership site. Navigate to the bottom of the window - ACCOUNT. Then MEMBERSHIPS - UNFOLDING STORIES - MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION - CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. This is your private area and we do not have access to your private information so you must cancel yourself.

Can I rejoin if I cancel?

YES! We would love to have you back! You must join at the prevailing price which may be higher.

Tell me more about the journal please:

We love it! It literally unfolds. Imagine that Pocket Journals and Pocket.doc had a sophisticated older sister. That’s a good image. You build it step by step with videos and a PDF that take you through each step with lots of help along the way. It has sections that house different parts of our stories that we will be documenting. We will teach you how to use it and then you can make it your own as much as you want or you can copy our style. It’s your choice. It is much more than an art journal or planner. It’s a life system journal that you get to make as personal as you want with lots of guidance from us.

Do I have to know watercolor?

NO, you can use whatever medium you love. Acrylic, markers, pencil, crayons, pastels, stamps, stencils, - if you love it, bring it! Rae & Sandi are definitely into watercolor but what we do is inspiration - do your medium.

Can I join the FaceBook group?

YES, please. Join in the fun. It is for members only. Request to join and we will let you in as quickly as we can. If you do not like FaceBook, that’s fine too. Rae and Sandi love Instagram and are there alot. Interact with them there.

I am having technical issues with the videos - they are not loading properly or I see a black box where the video should be.

We test our videos several times before we release them so if you get messages usually it is a browser issue. Here are some things that often work.

1. Close your browser and start over. Your computer has stored an incomplete webpage causing the message to display. A new loading of the page generally takes care of that.

2. Change your browser. Switch over to your alternate browser or device and try loading the pages that way. Again, it is fresh start.

3. Close your browser and restart your computer and reload the pages.
